L2 is the natural resting place for promoted NL teams. Jam packed full of them. Shows that promotion from L2 and survival in L1 isn't easy.

True but they don’t have our squad or resources.

Personally think L2 to L1 will be more difficult and therefore require more, better players. But this squad was designed to get out of the NL — would have been a ‘piece of cake’ but for an equally good County — and also win L2.

Looked at allocations for next season. Just 980 at Newport! That'll be tight.

Crewe only give 1680 too, which albeit higher than our away allocation, is still far lower than demand.

Do hope that those making the long slogs to Gillingham, Colchester, Crawley and Grimsby are given priority.

No one's mentioned Walsall, been some lively meetings in the past, and closer than most clubs already mentioned.

Is there a link or something where you found this information mate? I'd be interested in taking a look! Or was it just a case of looking up each team individually?

Every one of those places you mention is a shithole. Oh the joy of promotion!

I got excited and whipped this up for the teams we're guaranteed to face. Might not be wholly accurate. It's assuming all journeys start at Wrexham General and the car runs at 38mpg. Probably some inaccuracies in petrol as well, I just ran it through a fuel calculator.

Train journeys include subsequent walks/buses/tubes.

Allocations come from footballgroundguide.com for the most part.

Crewe
Train - 1 hour £10 return
Car - 50 mins 30 miles - £10 petrol
1680 allocation

Tranmere
Train - 1.25 hours £5 return
Car - 45 minutes 30 miles £10 petrol
2500 allocation
