I wrongly assumed they would open up the membership this year and I could correct things, the fact it looks like they won’t means it looks like I’m screwed! I may be in a position to go to games when the kop is open, but the fact I may never get membership means as a fan of 35 years I may not get an opportunity to get a season ticket. So from a personal perspective I hope they reopen membership, there will be other long term fans who (probably for better reasons than me) didn’t get membership. However can understand reasons not to do that.
I'm in the same boat. I'm against membership schemes in principal as I don't agree with my support of the club being monetised so I chose not to pay the 20 quid.

It does piss me off that New Reds who paid up are ahead of me in every queue. Been a Wrexham fan for almost half a century now and that has counted for jack shit. But that was my choice.

I made it to a dozen games over the season most of them away. Several times I had to get quite 'creative' in getting tickets. I imagine that next season will be even harder.

If they open up the Membership I'll swallow my pride a bit and join. My best bet of seeing home games will be when the Kop reopens. Not as a ST but as a turnstile operator. There is talk of getting the band back together and it would be great to get the same number turnstile in the new stand.

Read that one fan had flown over stayed the weekend and bought a ticket tot a home game for about a third of the price of watching a Dolphins home game.

Having lived outside the UK for the last 34 years, I only managed odd games, usually Boxing day and then the odd big match, so I would never have thought of buying a season ticket for Wrexham. I did though have season tickets for my other club, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk which sadly no longer exists.

Oh and I also put a large sum from my pension savings into community shares as a fans' owner. I put that as I am now in a disadvantaged position against all the Tik Tokers

Thanks to Mr Putin I was back working in the UK since last September. It has progressively got harder and harder to get tickets. i have managed though to get tickets by hook or by crook. Thanks to those who have helped, either with their seasons or through the spare tickets thread. I have also worked out how to work the Ticket Shafter system and got "Member's tickets (a bloody insult btw if you were originally a lifetime member), and failing that I have been in the home end at Dagenham, Oldham,, Barnet, Wealdstone and Southall and b*gger their Ts and Cs.

It is great that we have so much support, especially from the younger ones - they are no more than we were in 1978 - but it is very disappointing that there are no places open to new season ticket holders, I'm off to Ukraine now but hope to be back next season, and I'll get in somehow.
