But equally, Sunderland didn’t have Hollywood A listers. They’re the main story and the football club is the canvas.

But what I will say is the fans, the players (pretty much everyone) has helped create this captivating story. Rob and Ryan have needed the fans to throw themselves into this as much as we’ve needed them to and the results have been staggering not just us breaking records on the pitch but the global success of the tv show.

I knew this would be big but not this big.

Also, Shaun has been great although I’d guess he works best when money isn’t necessarily a problem.

When season 2 airs, I think we'll look back on this season and realise we'd not even scratched the surface of the north American interest.

Are they planned to air in the Far East?

Rob's goal is to make little old Wrexham America's favourite footy team. Series 2 will go a long way towards that.

"The players started their evening at Hakkasan, a modern Chinese restaurant at the MGM Grand hotel, where prices for the signature Phoenix menu start at $148 and the eatery's standout dish, the Signature HK Peking Duck, can be ordered with a side of Tsar Nicoulai Reserve Ossetra caviar for $188.

Bottles of champagne, no doubt ordered to toast their successes, cost an upwards of $200.

After dining well, the National League-topping side moved onto Hakkasan nightclub where they were greeted by an enormous presentation commemorating their successes.

Huge Wrexham flags were waved and the club's name was spelled out in neon lights as the champions were welcomed into town".

-----Hope the lads are having a good time, sounds R&R have set it all up in style for them. It is a dream for us, what must it be like for them?----------
