I think that's more an indication of the restrictions in terms of numbers on the bench .... Mullin was always going to play most of all games if Fit . Palmer/ Dalby would need subbing on / off , so we couldn't carry another striker on the bench and cover every other area of the first 11 ...

...I do think Billy was Brought in as Mullin cover, but he has the chance to be the second smaller striker .

I'm not so sure as we have given him a contract until the end of the 24/25 season. If we were thinking of using him as cover only for the end of this season it doesn't seem logical to have given him a 2+ year deal.

Waters will likely never be first team but we should see him more often in League Two. Main reason he didn't play much is the 5-person bench.
