Back in The F. L. we're we belong. It looks like we will start with what we have got, no new signing to replace PM, so I'm hoping for a Wrexham win, but just might end up a draw. If we get beaten, everyone will say, I knew we needed to buy a replacement, and RP will go into overdrive. PP seems we can possibly go 3 months without PM but only time will tell.

I think Hayden starts due to his goal threat from set plays. I also think he will start Palmer, but I'd go Dalby personally. I think Dalby has come on a ton in 2023 and will only get better if playing regular football.

This match will be our first chance to calibrate the team performance.
Of course, the emotion of the first game back in the FL and the lack of SPM will mean we have to be a bit cautious in analyzing the result.
With our squad I've got to believe we've got more than enough to get the win so I'm going for a 2-1 win with plenty of butterflies on display.
There'll also be a part of the game where it looks like it's all going wrong and we'll rely on a masterful tactical switch by Parky and an inspired sub display by.... I'm going with Dalby coming on to the rescue at 60 mins and getting a brace.

I have a feeling PP will accommodate JJ by playing Lee alongside Palmer as he did first half v Philly U. He also played Cannon holding cm with JJ right and TOC left, of the 3 so that must be in his thoughts, but he isn't short of options.

I really hope we start Waters and don’t put Lee up top like we did against Philadelphia II. Lee is a perfect fit in his current spot, wouldn’t want to change it. Not sure if PP was just testing something out or if that’s his plan to start the year. He had said (before the SPM injury, so things easily could’ve changed) that the Philly lineup would be “The 1s.”

Fairly common for managers to do that in the last pre season game. This is the Philly lineup:
