Id say its a pretty fair article...

IMHO though first game plays still had issues with Jet lag from the US tour which pretty much most people agree wasn't perfectly timed for us and the start of the season.

Saying that though we have Won one, Lost One and Drawn Two and won our cup game. Given everything especially with Mullin out and the other injuries its not too bad a start to the season.

I think it is an honest, astute and succinct round-up of being back in L2 so far, which, along with others, I agree with.

Not to henpeck, but... the only gripe I have is with your choice of idiom/phrase... but then again they do say...

"be neither fish nor fowl"....

Predicted the indifferent start but I take no joy in that.I think I said at least half a dozen games until we're near our best.

Nothing I've seen changes my prediction. A massive week coming up in the transfer market and will likely shape the first half of our season

Not to harp on about it.

But PP says that we're still getting used to the physciality of the league. And you wonder if some of that could have been mitigated by playing league 1 or 2 teams in pre season.

Playing exclusively under 21 teams was no use. When they're known for their technical ability but not their physicality.

Looking at the results; W1, D2, L1.
After the Mullin injury and unconventional preseason it's about where I expected us to be.
However, I thought we would be there via low scoring matches, i.e a 1-0 win, 0-1 loss and a couple of nil nils.

I think that's where the shock has come for me, that
a) we're still scoring (lots!)
b) we're conceding (lots!)

We obviously need to get better defensively, do we have the players to do that?
