"Wrexham AFC are pleased to announce the signing of Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo on a season-long loan.

The 6’6” goalkeeper has been with Arsenal’s academy since 2009 and has represented the Club in the EFL Trophy.

He also spent last season on loan with Crewe Alexandra and Stum Graz – winning the Austrian Cup with the latter – and now arrives at the STōK Cae Ras until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

On signing for Wrexham, he said: “I know that the Club had a great season last year, and it’s good to see how the Club has a plan to progress up the leagues.

“The passion the fans, the owners and the Club have to keep moving forward is really good.”"
