No Mullin or McClean hurts, but I think our overall depth will still be too much for Gillingham. Looks like they’ve lost 3 of their last 4 league matches. They don’t score many goals, and they don’t concede many goals. I’ll say a neat 2-0 win with Lee scoring early, Dalby scoring late as a sub, and our defense holding up for a clean sheet.

For a bonus prediction, I say Crewe and Notts tie and we’ll be second in the league by Saturday night.

Anything less than a clean sheet against the worst scoring team in the league would be a disappointment. However, we have absolutely shipped goals at home this season, playing much tighter in the back on the road.

I suspect we will get 1 or 2 without Mullin and McClean, but no more.

So we need a 1-0 or 2-1 to win. 1-1 or 0-0 or 0-1 would be a real disappointment.

Yes , you're absolutely right . they've been a very , VERY defensive side to date - the first goal will be key - if we get it , they'll struggle , if they get it , could be a long frustrating game
