Actually, I was there at Bury and he didn't score. We won 3-0 that day, chanted 'Third Division Rubbish' at Bury, as we were already promoted and, after he flicked the Vs, the whole away end, which was a sell-out that day because it was our promotion party, chanted 'Newby's a W**ker" for a large part of the game until he was subbed.
