Have Wrexham Afc stopped midweek Radio Wales Commentaries ? - RedPassion.co.uk

I was in work on afternoons last night I was hoping to listen to The Reds on the radio as I did my job but couldn't find it anywhere.
Anybody know why we're no longer on the radio ?

Said early on in the live match thread, that they did not cover our match last night. I don't know why. Someone said that they did not cover the Mansfield game either, but that maybe because it was a cup match. It was the first time I have listened to a night match that they have not covered us this season. I also made the point that I could not see them not covering any Cardiff, Swansea games or even Newport. I must admit though I don't know if they covered the Cardiff and Newport matches last night. When I switched on all I had was a music programme.

Maybe they are cutting back, but have not heard anything. Never tune into MG for his, just not my cup of tea. Although I do obviously listen watch if I pay for the live video stream.

I may be me misreading your question but it’s my understanding that Wrexham AFC have not stopped commentary but BBC Wales have. You can still get Wrexham commentary by paying to listen on iFollow

As we are in the EFL the BBC can not put commentaries online, like they do with non-league commentaries, as talksport holds them rights.

Talksport generally don't cover EFL as they are focussed on the Champions League - they have EFL commentary on international weekends.

The only option for online commentary is paying for Wrexham's ifollow.

BBC Wales very rarely broadcast commentaries midweek.

Nope...BBCWales is available on 95.4 fm in the NE Wales on a radio but not online. The first match I have missed on BBCRW was last night, for some reason they did not cover it. If you live outside the area, yes, the only option is Wrexham ifollow. Would email them, but currently I cannot find out their address.

Earlier in the day on their sports report they did mention that Swansea commentary would be available on FM in the South but no mention of any Wrexham commentary

It sounds like it’s purely a bbc wales decision as I could pick up bbc radios Shropshire , Merseyside and Manchester on my steam powered wireless Tuesday night and they were all covering their local teams fixtures .
