They are on a very good run, you would think like Stockport it will come to an end at some point. I wonder if they have any players that clubs will look at in January, manager could also be in the running for a league 1 or richer league 2 job.

I was not impressed with them when we played them. They were very lucky to get 1 point against us at home. That was Telford's first game with them and since he joined they've been winning.

I still think AFC Wimbledon was more impressive looking than Barrow or Crewe. I would be surprised if Barrow kept up this pace.

Pete Wild nearly got Halifax up, moved to Barstow and made them competitive, and now outsiders for promotion. He seems to be a good manager on the up. Indeed, anyone who can make Billy Waters look like a player must be a genius.

I suspect there will be many opposing fans saying the same about us. Not many away games where we have looked odds on for promotion, and today should have been a lot easier than it turned out to be.

Barrow's next two games are tough, Crewe away then Stockport at home. If they continue their run and win both of those then they will have to be regarded as genuine contenders for automatic promotion.
