I hadn't thought of that before and you could well be right.
Perhaps the yellow kills his mad man instinct, but it takes about 15 mins to take effect, or perhaps it's the Parky HT expletives that chill him out

Terrible 1st half despite leading 1-0. We were constantly under the cosh after the red card.
HT brought a much improved mindset and we could possibly have scored more, but just the lucky OG went in.
Colchester were constantly threatening our box but couldn't apply any finishing touches - and they should have, with a few close calls whizzing past the posts.
A goal close to the 90 min mark made for an interesting last 10 mins, but we rode it out.
I enjoyed the spectacle of the game but I'm glad it's over and fortunate to get 3 points in the end, but they all count!

Terrible first half??? Was it? A first half which we controlled with 10 men. ‘Fortunate to get the 3 points’ no we weren’t we controlled the whole game apart from conceding a sloppy goal I never once thought we’d lose of draw, it a was a strong controlled performance with 10 men.

Tis the season for back to back promotions.

Hard working performance with terrific displays from the back 5 and the three in the middle. On the negative side Mark Howard fluffed 5 crosses in the second half, let them back in the game and could have costs us the points . If McNicholas isn’t better than Howard we shouldn’t be paying £100000 for him.

I didn't see who got motm but I thought Cannon played really well.
I was disappointed in his performances earlier this season but he's really been playing well recently.
I can't say that anyone else really stood out for me but a competent return by O'Connell was important with the games coming up.
