Can’t be as bad as Anfield, Klopp has just torn into his own supporters and asked those who sit there like an inanimate object to give their ticket to someone else. A lesson to learn perhaps. Parky is a gentleman and I’m sure wouldn’t say something like that.

Aye I remember those days it could get quite edgy at times when likes of Preston, villa, Stoke were in town bit of fun though haha.

When did they put that horrendous fence around the pitch.

Early 70s I think.
Wasn't it mandated by either the league or government (?) to combat crowd violence.
And then similarly mandated to be removed for safety reasons after some of the horrendous crowd fatalities - I can't remember whether it was triggered by the crushes or the fires.
