There's not much wrong in the article. He was operating under very different circumstances at Leeds and Bradford than he is here, but it's factually correct to say he took two separate clubs into administration.

I think he's done a decent job here but I'm not completely blown away by what he's done. The Kop will break ground at least a year behind schedule and there's very little visible progress on a training ground.

Before I'm accused of moaning, these are the standards the owners expect to be held to or they wouldn't have drafted that mission statement. On the whole I can't recall a better time to be a Wrexham fan.

Some caution needed, has two Administrations to his name and has gone and done what pretty much everyone on the forum would've done, Kop, training ground etc.

The challenge will come higher up the leagues where we'll meet clubs with equally as big resource.

I don't doubt the bloke's abilities; he comes across as an extremely capable chap, and his track record at the club so far has been great.

However, I don't think for one minute that he gives a ha'penny jizz about the club, the community or the area. Like the players, he's a professional, and he's here to do a job. He'll be off in a flash if a better offer comes in or the wheels start falling off. That's not a criticism of him, that's just the way it works.

Don't fall for the badge kissing, it's all part of the show.
