Default Fletcher different gravy

Fletcher was class today, mullin seems to enjoy the combo with him. Do we really need another striker this season?

They were great but I would still get another in as one of them getting a bad injury or a ban would be the Wrexham way. Its a long season and they will be grateful of rest and rotation (especially Fletch)

I wonder....Who is the oldest player to score a hat-trick for Wrexham?

Imagine Fletcher and Lee Trundle in the same team

He is class, his link up play is top notch, he doesn't get bullied and he scores goals, 5 goals in 340 minutes of play this season.

Hopefully he stays fit and we see him starting much more in the coming months unless another top notch striker comes in.

At this point yes, it's only Fletcher's second start of the season iirc and he's already had knee surgery so it's cross your fingers and hope he can last the marathon if we are going to start playing him as more than the 15-30 minute sparkplug option. He's obviously got the quality to start, it's all a matter of durability at his age.

Best display I can recall. His touch is class and every flicked header and general movement from him serves a purpose. He conserves his energy and plays defenders at this level like a fiddle. The experience and class just oozes from him.

Yes different gravy but yes we need another option up top. Dalby doesn’t score enough (yet…he is a long term project but can we afford to wait?), Bickers is still inexperienced and Palmer is injured. We cannot be left in the situation of having to play McClean up top on a regular basis.

Fletcher was awesome today though.

He’s got Championship quality but just doesn’t have the legs anymore.

Keep him fit and we’ll be more than fine
