Especially if they have plans for other parts of the ground. They will need to have the capacity to move fans around. The is also the issue of moving the away fans back into the ERS. Which has been mentioned.

Until other developments start it will also mean more in the pot for general sale. Which will help them sell more memberships. And there is better margin on general sale tickets than on ST's.

Lastly don't forget (unless I'm mistaken) current ST holders have the first option to move to the KOP.
Yep they did say that current season ticket holders have the option to move to the kop, I'm sure you had the choice when you renewed your season ticket, either last year or year before

If they did move people over from the yale stand that would be 1900 odd home supporters and 1600 odd away fans. Probably move the away fans into the Eric Roberts stand and than move the displaced home fans into the kop.

Not for me the new kop when built I was offered my choice of any seat in there when I was moved from my seat in the lager stand so they could accommodate friends and family.I chose another seat in the lager I like watching games from the halfway line before they do anything with this stand I'll be either pushing daisies or drooling in some care home.

What has Pryce Griffiths got to do with it ?

His name was on the current MRS but was rightly ripped off in disgrace.

Had it in my mind the Lager stand was previously called the PG stand but as you say was the MRS.

I agree regarding your last paragraph even though he was influential with stadium development in his earlier years before he screwed up with the deal which nearly crippled us.

Regardless of where current ST holders choose to sit, there will be more seats and I would imagine more ST's available. I'm talking about ST's in general not just for the kop.
Have the money ready (there is enough time to start saving now) to ensure you have as good a chance as anyone to snap one up.

I have a Natwest credit card, they give you the option of paying monthly instalments, I usually go for 6 monthly payments for a very small fee

Grew up with that as the Pryce Griffiths Stand. Also had the Sainsbury's stand and Eric Roberts stand.

If your credit is decent, there's 0% purchase credit cards out there. Moneysavingexpert lists the best ones. You can get 0% for like, 20 months.

I hope away fans will only ever be out in a section along the side the pitch so we have wxm fans on all 4 sides of the racecourse. More and more that seems to be the way new stadium plans are these days to give the home sides more vocal backing .
