These players need to start pulling their fingers out. Marriott, Mullin, Lee, Fletcher; absolute woeful.

If we could score goals as easy as we concede them, we’d be 20 points clear.

Marriott is another in an increasingly long line of players who are coming in with big reputations and not performing to the desired level. At least a knackered Mullin looks more likely to score.

Whoever in recruitment decided on Marriot and Bolton being an improvement on what we already had needs sacking. Any good will towards Parkinson is also diminishing rapidly.

Missing Tozers throws? We've had very little joy from his throws this season.

We are becoming the authors of our own downfall.

It was obvious we had too many underperforming players going into the season, and when Mullin got injured PP's No 1 Plan disappeared.

Nevertheless, we are still in a position from which we can pull out of this slump. But PP must start playing those players who are in form and fit, rather than acting like those fans who mistakenly think Mullin, Lee, Tozer and Palmer will 'come good'.

Furthermore, it's a bit of a long-shot when we have to rely on a 36-year old striker to pull us out of the fire, regardless how good he is when fit enough to start.

If we lose to FGR then PP can plan his retirement in the sun!
