Pleased for Moulty if it comes off. Great lad with fantastic attitude. Was very disappointed how quickly we let him go and still feel it was a poor decision.

How could we have kept him & held him back from a good career move? Better contract/security for him and his family and a move to play at a higher standard.

I believe we could have gained promotion with the aid of his goals. The short-term approach of selling good players whenever you get an offer leads nowhere ....especially if the replacement is someone useless and of poor character like James Gray.

It does say a "healthy" percentage, so fingers crossed

Fine, especially with hindsight re James Gray, but it doesn't answer how we could keep hold of such a player when they have the prospect of more stability for their family, higher level football etc.

Maybe we could have forced him to stay, but would we have seen the same Louis Moult ?

No one really knows but pointless harking on about it now

Like this bit
Wrexham are believed due a
healthy percentage of any fee.
If it's in the Sun, it must be true.

Somebody "who works at the club" was saying Watford were interested at the barbers the other week.
