£70,000 from subscriptions last year and £43,000 from other fundraising shows having the resolution to transfer up to 150k is certainly reasonable.

That income would be for the new 'assets' company though wouldnt it?

Seems a strange thing to vote on when very hypothetical.

There has been a debate on another thread about the benefits v costs of circulating promotional material in regards to buying/renewing season tickets.

I believe the argument for such a campaign for membership of the WST is a more pressing matter, as a healthy membership is essential in the long term and the costs of being a member is minimal. With such a slide on membership a real concern, i would like to see a plan/strategy in place to reverse this.

If I've read it right, the average membership paid is £22 per year. I would imagine that a huge percentage of members only pay the minimum of £12 (£15).
There must be a way that staggered membership be considered, to encourage people to commit to more.

I agree, there should be a recognised difference to say someone who gives £100 and someone who gives the minimum. That's not to say the ones who give the minimum should be punished or ridiculed in any way ( as this is what they may be able to afford) but there should be some form of incentive for a bigger contribution.
