What did he do last night that impressed? His passing was poor and crossing was as what you'd expect from him, everyone came down with snow on and more hopeful punts than whipped into dangerous areas. I'm guessing everyone is ignoring him missing an open goal then? He had a good shot saved but I must of missed what you were impressed with, I don't think Rutherford himself was impressed as he was constantly swearing at himself.

Holroyd didn't play last night.
Pre match he was on the pitch but not training / warming up with the main group. He was having a one to one with a physio / trainer - doing some running up and down the flank and lots of leg hops.
Perhaps he has a slight injury and wasn't risked ?
In scoring the final goal I think no less than 3 Wrexham players received knocks - Pearson hobbled back towards the half way line, Barrett was bungled into the net and just prior to the goal Massanka took a very heavy late challenge that could be heard all the way back to Wrexham - lets hope nothing serious.

This is the only concern going forward with a small squad. I would imagine part of the budget has been left to one side for loans when necessary.

Hallelujah! Here's hoping that the impatient blinkered type on here will read this post.
The same ones who would be moaning by Christmas because we have been battered by injuries and suspensions ,struggling mid table and cant afford any decent loanees.

Mills spilled all the cash like a kid in a sweet shop as soon as he got his hands in it.
DK knows it's a long season with a small but quality squad and at some point we're gonna need to bring in one of two replacements if we are going to maintain a challenge.

If it was Akil Wright he was very highly thought of by Barrow fans last seasseaso. Why would he be with us on trial? Has he left Fleetwood?

Possibly, I didn't know that. Maybe if you are looking at a long term loan that sort of thing is common. He'd be a very useful addition. I think he played all across the back for Ilkeston as well.

I think he's probably on trial with view to a possible loan signing. He's still a Fleetwood player.
