Doesn't get me masterbaking. I prefer a striker who can stick the ball in the net.

I have an idea:

Motherwell want money for Moult but anyway have to give us 20% so if we offer £240k then they would be effectively be getting £300k.

If we sign Moult be sure ST sales would go through the roof and BTB would get a huge boost

Just fantasising

Very very early days yet.

However if he doesn't speak any english then thats a major problem I think. Difficult to judge from pre season playing weaker sides that don't really test us.

The signing will no doubt be Akil Wright who has impressed ever since he pulled on a red shirt at Druids. That will be the midfield sorted.

If DK was equally happy with Gime would he also be offered a contract ?

My lad reckons Gime is like Bakare only taller - I have been impressed with him and think he could do a job for us - there is nobody else at the club with his height up front but we need someone to put the ball in the net and he is missing far more than he scores at the moment.

So, you were impressed by Bakare, Red Light?

I was impressed how he managed to get a contract with us. I think he was impressed too.

My lad doesn't rate Gime and says he can't hit a barn door with a banjo. I quite like him but am undecided and I reckon Dean Keates is in the same frame of mind.
Will he score us goals ? because ultimately that will be the difference.
His shooting so far has not been impressive in comparison to the chances he has been provided with.
Like DK said in his Stafford post match interview he will have another run out on Tuesday.
The argument about the language issue is a no brainer - we all knew that before he put on a red shirt - it can't help but it should come as no surprise.

Gime is a huge gamble if we are relying on him as our only new signing, if we can afford to after we have signed another striker, then id take a chance, but not at the expense of a potential goalscorer

Im excited by the prospect of Akil Wright signing though

I agree. I think we've got the money there to spend on a good striker as we've put a bid in for Cook, but Keates will be very picky over where the money goes. He won't just spend it on anyone and if the right player doesn't become available in this window, he'll spend it in the next.
