However if only the money for the concerts, say, has been spent with the taylor money in the bank, and the key financial difference is the 18 players, then that paints a far better picture.

Correct. If DK wants to exceed his budget he would have to ask, its happened before. And seeing how wisely he spends it I think the board would have no problem at all.

And there is still the potential for an extra boost from BTB if we are challenging where we want to be, this is probably our golden chance at last (yes we've been saying this for years but we've got to grasp it now).

I tend to agree but at least it will help that BTB is up and running for the whole season, and if we have a good start and in the mix over winter i think we could match it next summer.

True, but hopefully whatever happens this season we will be there or thereabouts and gates will be up. A cup run would be good too to swell the coffers a bit.

Depends what kind of season we have. Another one like last season and you couldn't see people putting into BTB again.
