They do it at the theatre, but then there are different riles for football clubs and the likes of theatre goers.

This sort of system works very well at theatres I have been to. Can't see why it wouldn't work, unless there is a regulation somewhere that forbids it ?

Perhaps the club should consider employing usherettes - the ones who used to show you to your seats in the cinema and then at the interval come around with trays to serve food and drinks. I am sure one S Booth said she would introduce them should she take over the club!

No the folks who don't want improvements might just be those who dont want to buy tickets in advance, and then sit on that actual seat. The cinema experience has certainly improved since banning smoking and selling us a specific seat. As footy fans, are we still happy to queue in the rain on the Yale Stand car park for FA Cup tickets and continue in the vein of our grandparents?

It was a mess at half time trying to buy a beer. People were arguing because there was a queue from both ends resulting in disputes over who should be served first. When there are only two members of staff behind a small bar, I think queuing from one end makes more sense, a sign saying queue this side might help and we need a bigger bar or another bar in the MRS to cope with demand.

The serving area at the Tech end of the MRS (near the lavs),which is sometimes used to sell club merchandise pregame,is always vacant at halftime.I would imagine there could be access issues there though,as there isn't that much room between the counter and the turnstiles.BTW,is the little kiosk right at the Tech end of the MRS still used?,if not,we have two facilities not being utilised during halftime (although there would possibly access issues at the little kiosk too,with the only wheelchair access to pitchside,being close to the kiosk).Just a thought.
