Not usually as pretty much every team puts defending players on the posts.

The players we had on the posts seemed switched on to what Tranmere's corner routine is and quickly pushed out leaving the corner taker offside.

Shows the hard work that is going on behind the scenes with the analysis that we've brought in

The corner kick taker is usually off the field of play when taking an inswinger so I presume he'd still be offside even if you've got people on the posts because he's further beyond the people standing on the posts? Not that it matters now. Get in!!

You can't be offside if you are off the pitch.

Where would the free kick be taken from? Off the pitch? If the players are on the post there wouldn't be an offside

Keates is getting some flack on their forum for being mouthy all game apparently!! They're also having a go at our players for celebrating in front of their fans, which I found odd to be honest, but completely forget about Cook doing the same at Jester last year!

I kind of get that. I hate it when opposition players make a deliberate attempt to celebrate in front of our fans when they score.
But if anyone listened to Carl Darlingtons interview he said part of the gameplan was to get the fans to turn against Tranmere. Probably just part of it.

I don't care if we're liked, I've hated a lot of the teams and managers that have gone up like Steve Evans's Crawley and Paul Cox's Mansfield. About time we were the shithouses of this league.
