I think a staff upgrade is needed with one key manager at each catering point who will motivate junior staff. Can't run a business with kids. Why not focus say on burgers first and offer a different "special" each home game. Could be based on the away team we are playing eg Eastleigh "The Spitfire burger" - maybe a chilli burger ??? etc etc
Cracking ideas !

Interestingly Chester's rating is 4/5
I am not an expert in this field, but observing youngsters with no guidance or supervision handling hot dogs with bare hands serving customers probably doesn't meet the required standards.

The club hasn't got the time/inclination to remove posters advertising Olly Murs let alone set a strategy for bringing the standard and variety of food up.

It's not bad in comparison with most. Kidderminster is an exception to the rule. For example the pies at tranmere were no of our standard an 60p more.
I'm not sure an increase in quality would result in a profit increase.

Agree with this. Usually we run out of food anyway, so getting more expensive products in wouldn't really benefit us.

I think we should focus on getting the right amount of stock in first.

Also, going on the theme of 'specials', it'd be a lot more costly if we brought in new products every game rather than buying in bulk and splitting it over several games. As nice as it would be, we're not really in a position to throw away money like that.

The idea of a "Shit Sandwich" when jester come to town, isn't really appealing though

But working smart and making the experience better for people can be done very easily - just an example if beers were ready for collection at half time by sorting the financial sale prior to the game and issuing a token im sure it would quicken the process / improve the experience and encourage more people to have a beer.

Concentrate on the basics: Service, quality and supply.

Get those right and the rest is easy.
