Sort it out quickly Dean Keates! We will never have a better chance of winning this league let alone getting in the playoffs. Arfon Griffiths addressed a similar issue in 1977/78, his first managerial season, by signing Dixie McNeill to solve our striking problem after Billy Ashcroft's departure to Middlesbrough.

Easier said than done, Dixie knew he was joining the best team the old 3rd division had seen for many a year and Arfon had £120K from Ascroft's sale that was surplus after the gates of the previous season.

It makes me laugh all these experts who constantly want to change the shape of the team. I'm sure our coaching staff will have given our shape and personnel a vast amount of thought/discussion and explored alternatives on the training ground and are not missing a trick. More people should get involved in local football, youth or adults, there are loads of teams crying out for volunteers/managers to help run them, then folks can tinker as much as they like with formations.

But we are now at a time when we can't sign a player unless he's not currently registered with a club or he comes in on loan - behind the scenes I'm sure DK has pursued some big names at this level but for one reason or another they have not come off - there again the current strikers have been very disappointing. So are they all so bad or would they benefit better if we changed formation and style of play ? In other words if we are successful in bringing in another striker would he have the same problems as the current strikers do ? Having said that we have created chances the last two games to have won them both.

If there is a striker out there at the moment who is so good then the parent club are unlikely to loan him to us as 'surplus' unless it's another 20 year old on the up such as Massanka or Mcdonagh (Tranmere)

I'm not his biggest fan, but the constant critism of a half decent player is getting a bit tedious now.

I agree he is Wrexham through and through he don't deserve the constant harping.

I'm quite sure that the strikers we have are probably good enough for this division.
We have until recently created very little for the forwards to convert and I feel they just need a lucky break to start scoring. Reading the critics on hear is good for a laugh at times.
Harry Kane would have been shipped out in August for not scoring going by the type of comment on here.

Last two games I'd say we created more than enough chances to win.
