I'm baffled how anybody could pick Hurst at right back. His distribution is awful, I think he could be useful at centre back. But even in midfield , he's another defence minded midfielder.

I’m more baffled by people wanting Carrington at left back over Jennings. Insanity.

It would mean the following:
He’d be vulnerable as he’s on his weaker foot.
Zero attacking threat down the left wing from fullback.

Also Jennings is just a better footballer.

Thankfully Keates hasn’t lost the plot so I very much doubt this would ever happen.
Playing players out of position should only be done if there are no other options and that lesson should have been learnt long ago now from what we’ve witnessed over the last ten years. Yet some still wanting this is either naive or ignorant.
