Wrexham goal and end of match celebrations from the away end.

Including the disappearance of Paul Rutherford - swallowed by the Red Army like a scene from Jaws - most entertaining 15 minutes of the night !

Yeah let's play carrington as a wing back when he has shown over 4 seasons he cannot get forward and cross a ball. Lets play an average right back as centre half (left hand side) and Rutherford who cannot or will not cross a ball at right wing back, amazing! Tell you what let's compound this madness by continuing with massanka up top.

Yes it's great we're equal top although played a game more, but Chester are in the bottom 3 and first half it was easy to see why, we basically controlled the first half without looking like scoring & were lucky not to be a goal down after another Dunn blunder. But my point is as welcome as the result is and against who it was that first half we should of been capable of putting them to the sword. Scoring 2 or 3. Then we wouldn't of been hanging on yet again like we were second half. Our biggest problem every game is the midfield, I don't get this adoration for Wright he is OK at breaking up play but his distribution is woeful, so is Wedgebury of a similar ilk. Until we get some creation in the middle the forwards are always going to be feeding off scraps, although they play to deep anyway.

Yes we should be over the moon at where we are,but Pearson in his interview was passionate and spot on plus it's only early November. We were sailing near the top in November a few seasons ago and Xmas ended that and that side scored goals.

Those 'lads' I have to assume were either members or season ticket holders as that made up the vast majority. Not a great footballing spectacle but if is there is any WFC in their veins how could they not possibly have enjoyed the overall experience ? Over 1200 fans singing and dancing their way to a hard fought victory over our most bitter rivals. As Bignott said - 'I would take the Wrexham performance and result every time' That is what matters and he is spot on. No I did not enjoy biting my finger nails all second half but would I do it all again - yes.

On the subject of the Dunn blunder - I assume you have been watching football for a while. Does the referee not always blow when there is contact (which there was) and the keeper falls badly (which he did) and further to my recollection they did not and were not about to score from the resultant drop.

I think Dunn got lucky there, for me he jumps over there player who just stood his ground. I do agree however that almost always goes in the keepers favour. There was a blunder early on as well when Dunn dived but the ball trickled under his hand and was cleared by a defender behind him. He may have been referring to that.

Whilst I would prefer to watch attractive football I'm fed up of flattering to deceive. If we can go up playing pragmatic defensive football I can get behind that, to get out of the conference at least. We need to bolster the squad in January but I'm starting to believe we can do it.

As for Dunn. I dont think he played well.but that incident did look like a foul to me. Archer didnt atrempt to jump and backed into him. It was certainly less suspect than either occasion when the Orient keeper ended up on the deck.

I agree - and the point we (the happy clappers / nodding dogs blah blah blah) are making is - Lets add to a squad that is currently very hard to beat and sitting joint top. NOT by luck and because the league is crap but by hard work and leadership on and off the field.
