Yet again the club has been fined for a smoke bomb being let off, this time at the Chester game. How long before tougher sanctions are introduced due to repeat offending? Are they able to deduct points?
Speaking to a steward about it yesterday and he said it’s imposs to search everyone through the gates with 100% accuracy and picking out an offender on cctv is more luck than anything else.
So what can be done?

Surely these idiots who throw the flares can be identified. They should be fined and banned from attending future matches. At Chester with such small stands it is probable there is video evidence especially as it was televised. As ever the small minority are spoiling it for such an otherwise magnificent bunch of supporters and now costing us money and ultimately who knows costing us promotion either by reducing Dean's available transfer funds or maybe even a points deduction.

Wrexham have been handed a £500 fine by the FAW following the release of smoke bombs in the away end during the cross-border derby clash at Chester.

Following a Disciplinary Panel hearing on Monday, the FAW have issued the Dragons with the fine; £400 of which has been suspended until the end of the 2017-18 season assuming there are no further similar incidents.
