We had 2 cleared off the line. It could easily have been 3-0 half time. Nervy finish as the 2nd goal didn’t come, but we created a lot of chances for the first 2/3 of the game. A win’s a win.

We should have killed them off first half but full marks to the team for grinding out a valuable win against an opposing side that never gave up. Very well done Ruthers! A great lob too, goal from the moment the ball left his boot!

Brilliant result, but not a great game. In the first half, we looked good in places, until the forwards got it. Could have got that vital second goal and taken off a lot of pressure. The second half saw Solihull come at us - what choice did they have? They played better than bottom of the league would suggest. DK obviously told our lot at half time, not to be too ambitious. Just like Saturdays game, we sat back and soaked it all up. Great defensive play, but hell its boring. I still worry about Dunn in goal and reluctance to come out and claim the ball. On the plus side, Rutherford took his goal well - one of his better games.
Despite rising to the top of the league, the team are not igniting the fans like perhaps they should. For a club in second place in the league and on a great run, the atmosphere was not good. Fans were nervous, as one nil was too close for comfort.

I never thought I would see the day that Rutherford would score the winning goal and be man of the match. Fair play to him this year he has been brilliant. 100 % every game, lacks a bit of quality at times but makes up for it in his complete aptitude to his role...

It was business as usual to be fair a good ground out win and finally seizing the opportunity to go top, not exciting to watch and probably why the atmosphere for a club at the top was only a little better than Saturday, nice to hear the Moan Road Stand join in the singing.

MOM Rutherford not just for finally scoring a goal but his overall performance and workrate. I particularly liked his run and commitment to take the ball off the Solihull players feet near the corner flag, once again Reid only looked half interested and with a bit of effort should of at least scored one, Massanka did well again when he came on, he seems to have added some bottle to his game, but after 10 mins he was looking tired and that may be why he is on the bench.

In summing up nice to grind out a win but we should of scored more and once again second half just like Saturday and at Chester we allowed ourselves to be pushed back through continually hoofing out of defence nobody in midfield taking control, I thought that Solihull were like most teams this season that have come to the Cae Ras poor & our giving the ball away making them look better. A wins a win though and that's what counts. I think Saturday at Aldershot will be a test for us a point their would be an achievement, onwards and erm we're already upwards.
Last thing a special mention for our so called"dogshit" keeper Dunn 3 clean sheets on the bounce ☺

Must have really upset him when the ref blew the final whistle and we went TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
I thought that....was very negative to the point of sounding bitter..Also,only praised the team for going top as an after thought

You said you were on the brink of packing it in after the Dover game.

And you've called every game boring since.

Why don't you do yourself a favour and not bother.
