Good win. I'm starting to accept grinding out wins but tonight we were at least a threat so maybe we're progressing attacking wise.
Fair play to Rutherford that's the best I've witnessed from him and he finished well. His energy and effort is commendable. Kelly drifts in and out of games but he's clearly our most talented player so we kinda have to put up with that in exchange for periods of him making the difference, hopefully. Reid was poor. I'll leave it there. Holroyd desperately needs a strike partner worthy of his effort. Carrington. Barely put a foot wrong and is clearly a full back. Played well. Solid if unspectacular. Massanka looked energetic. Will have to partner Holroyd until we sign a target man. Thought he showed some bravery when he collided with their keeper and looked lively. Final note..Imagine if we were Chester fans, as we are now on 39 points we'd all be hysterical that we're almost safe from relegation. |
