I thought Boden had a chance in the first half as well. In the box ball fell to him and he didnt get a strike on it. Was definitely a good chance and his lack of confidence showed. A poacher would have scored. So for me two chances missed.

A player in the mould of Darren Furguson would transform our play and this is where we should focus our efforts to improve the squad.
My sentiments exactly.

Reid did great at this the first few games before losing his way, and Holroyd is doing ok with this now. If Miller is this kind of player then hopefully he’ll have an impact as he sounds highly rated. Welcome!
Agree.

He's small. But then I'm 6 7 so everyone is small!

How many chances did Holroyd have?

Holroyd is full of confidence at the moment and his form is good.
I would guess that for a striker confidence is a big thing.

The header that Boden missed was similar to one that he missed at Fylde in the cup, a good chance but not the worse miss I've seen!

Mark Beck is 6ft 4" and he didn't do a lot when he was here. Now at Harrogate.

Holroyd is making this happen himself and for himself but yes confidence is a huge factor. I agree not the easiest of chances to take but neither have many of Holroyds been.

Miller will need to get chances in and around the box which is something that has been a bit lacking in terms of creativity. Maybe he can make chances himself and for others but its a tall order in our set up.
