I really can't see Mussanka getting more time with us after January. He has hardly featured recently and when he has been included, he has been very poor. I would be very disappointed if he stays. Nice lad but nowhere near good enough.

That’s exactly how he performed last season but we still brought him back.

Massanka probably costing us bugger all so means your 'striker budget' actually gets cut by 2 or 3 opposed to 3 or 4 (depending on how many we want in the squad). This should result in our club funded players being of a slightly higher standard....

For what it's worth I think Massanka is frustrating but is at least willing/covers ground quickly, many mentioned earlier in the season the Massanka/Reid partnership was out best option.

Just a shame our star striker has 1 goal to his name pre Xmas, that's where the big issue lies and not at an FOC 'punt' like Massanka who (for me anyway) is more than adequate as a 3rd/4th striker playing in a side with extremely limited creativity/supply.

I'm more concerned that the emphasis is on the strikers.
Keates must think that midfield is OK.
mind you, the way we play, we don't need a midfield. Just whack it up field and hope.

Midfield is ok. Our tactics are based on two defensive CM's and we have two good ones.

As you say, our tactics are whack it up the field and hope, which is why the focus is on strikers. We need strikers who suit out hoofball.

But he's a nice lad 😂😂😂 i was astounded when Keates resigned him I think it showed how poor his forwards recruitment is.
