Boden has been playing well recently, we need 4 forwards in the squad too. Agreed on Mackreth.

Ricky Miller has had a colourful time on and off the pitch . Due in court at the end of this season on assault charge. Not played at Posh since before Xmas. Chairman wants him out and refers to several proposed moves which have failed. Just maybe a loan arrangement until the end of April?

You're a bit of a plonker really arent you? Have you got anything to say about the topic on this thread?

It will piss me off if Dean is unable to bring players to improve the first team, because this is a great opportunity for us to go for the title.

Dean's almost certainly working his arse off, and I don't think anyone doubts that, if he is and is unable to secure a couple of signings then he's doing something wrong. He's had a long time to prepare for this window.

A striker, a creative midfileder and Smith on loan and we could well see a promotion party.

Most of us can see how close we are and if we don't add to the squad in the next 48hours, we might lose momentum and the season could end up being a shit one.

Nobody's doubting Keates' commitment to the cause, but the excuses wont hold much water with me now we have a real shot at going up, time to plan for this and a bit of money in the bank.

Mackreth has been a massive disappointment but I think Boden brings something to the team personally.

Agreed, mad to ship Boden out when we've persevered with him for two thirds of the season and he's finally finding some form and linking up nicely with Quigley.

Honest question dix do you think it is genuinely easy to go out and get 2/3 players better than what we have without blowing our budget? I'm sure we could sign 10 players if it was about just getting anyone in but that's not what we need.

I dont think anyone thinks it's easy but it's a vital part of his job to do so. I honestly think we could get a winger better than Rutherford and Mackreth, I'd like to think we could get a creative midfielder in and any striker would be better than not having one at all.

They will want a fee. The chairman has already his willing to banish Miller to the stands until an appropriate deal is done, and they can afford to wait.

He will go to a league club.

We’ve no chance of Miller, get real people.

Keates also wants the right characters for the squad, a wrong move or 2 now could ruin all the good work.

Wright, Raven and Quigley alone is a good window but there’s still time to make it a great one.
