You're right. I should have expanded the point. It was a case of, the fans have played their part. Now it's down to you to repay those fans with on field results.

It's our club, our idea and like always there will those that support it and those who do not. BtB has helped us go from a mid table team to challenging for promotion so as far as I'm concerned money well spent. I don't believe anyone went in to debt or gave what they couldn't afford and collectively if we all give a little, we can give another meaningful injection into the team on the pitch. If you don't support It then please don't derail it.

Surely as well as the BTB contribution a lot of the difference was made by money from player sales?

Agreed but we were expecting some lean years after taking over the Racecourse lease. In combination with player sell-ons, good gates, and some prudent planning when DK took over all seem to have put us back on track but BtB must have significantly contributed to the standard of players recruited.

Of course any increase in budget helps and as other's have said nobody is forced to put money into it, but I do feel as time goes on if we don't get outta of this league even BTB money won't go far enough times are getting harder out there for a lot of fans especially with young families, you only have too look at the high streets, Toys R Us,Maplins, Prezzo, all went into administration the other day, chimmichangas went bust to, people after paying mortgage,rent bills etc have very little left.
