I think they base their claim as to who is the oldest club in Wales on the line in Tacitus that states a Roman XI defeated a Druids XI in a not at all friendly game on Anglesey in the first century.

Completely wrong. Surprised no one has called them out on their claims. They're trying to claim they were formed in 1872 when Plasmadoc merged with Ruabon Rovers and Ruabon Volunteers, although the latter two were still active in the late 1870's. Druids FC then merged with Rhosymedre after WWI, then Acrefair United in 1923 to form Druids United. Druids United then merged with Cefn Albion in 1992.

So whilst Cefn Druids can claim lineage from Druids FC, their claims to being formed in 1872 are as valid as me claiming to have been born in 1900 as that's when my great grandfather was.
