He clearly isn't a winger. Literally a stretched version of Kelly.

Not to slag Kelly off who has improved of late.

We saw Deverdics in a more central role in the second half against Chester - he got an assist and a goal. In his very first 45 minutes against Guiseley, again he came inside a lot and looked good. Clearly is better in that position. Although he does need to work a lot harder than he does.

Yes Carrington looks out of place in the midfield,but has not done to badly at fullback in recent times,do you think he will get another 12 months or will the management team realise we need better players.

I would offer Carrington a new deal for 12 months and yes I hope whoever the new manager is realises we need better players in the crucial positions so the likes of Rutherford on the wing would be released

Rutherford can't win, he is right up there with the most assists in the NL, on top of his ability to keep possession and work his socks off which collectively has made us the hardest team to beat this season. People said bin him for Mackreth, then Deverdics and then Frank's but both DK and AD appreciate his value to the team and have rightly stuck with him.

Rutherford is twice the player Mackreth is, but does need to improve his dlivery despite his assists.

Deverdics has been a disappointment and cannot believe his performances are keeping Wright on the bench regardless of positions as Holroyd has played far better on the left.

I’m starting to think the ‘work his socks off’ is a myth, he offers nothing defensively and I don’t think I have seen him tackle since he’s been here. He’s now at the wrong age, he’s slow, his crossing is nothing short of shoddy for a winger in a promotion chasing side and everytime he gets in a good position to score or pull a cross back to an on coming striker he makes the wrong decision and crumbles. In my Opinion we should be looking at better players in his position who offers goals aswell as assists, I think once released he’d struggle to get a team in this league and I remember having the same disagreements about Joe Clarke and look how quick he tumbled down the leagues.
