Yes another strange one, are the Vaughan’s still involved? Also not a great history of love between the fans before when we have played them and at Wales games.

Yep, Vaughans are still involved and we should not be going anywhere near them. I like Bangor City but it's one friendly I will not be attending. No amount of laundering can properly clean the dirt off their money.

I don't do friendlies but stating the obvious, tougher games would be better and more meaningful preparation i.e. against EFL Division 2 first teams at least. Why hasn't a fixture with Walsall been considered?

How the hell do Chester land a friendly against Liverpool ?
Yes some of the big stars will be at the World Cup, but they will still draw a big crowd

Only wish we could get something sorted - its only lost £££££

All of Liverpool's friendlies in this country are early/ mid July and as we all know the pitch isn't ready to use then, after that they fly to America and Italy for other games and their last one is the day of the National League starting.

Let's see if the pitch is ready, and which team we get at the Racecourse

Liverpool decided to play there so their fans wouldn't have as far to travel!
It will be a third string or U23 side and will be meaningless.

We will have made a lot more money out of the Stereophonics gig.

Their 23's play at Chester for free some times, so I suppose its a thank you for that.

It'll be a decent squad as well.
