I’m fine with us signing a player from below.... as long he’s not coming in and expected to score thirty goals or play 40 odd games. Scouting needs to be more than a watch of a three minute YouTube video as well.

I know yeah, lad for Rhos Aelwyd, Jamie Rogers, quick good feet and scored for fun last season and has for a few seasons.

Did they get promoted last season? So this guy scored goals at least two leagues below? Thats quite a big leap.

Personally I'm all for looking for talent lower down the pyramid but my point is that some of the posters criticising the club on this thread are also the people most likely to criticise the signing of an unproven player from lower leagues (and have in the past).
