There are a whole list who hate the WST, and wish it to fail. Just yesterday I was called for daring to be pro-WST. Because I dared to be positive. The reason given? "And we know you are the wst mouthpiece. Nothing new there."

That was Birdy, who won't allow anything to be positive if it's Pro WST. He makes no bones to say he hates the WST and wants it gone. He's not alone. Do you honestly think he'd turn around and say he was wrong?

And just for clarity, you've mentioned "under it's current model", not success as a club as a whole.

I suggest you read your post back, it was you who brought the model into this, nobody else.

I suggest you read the post back, I said "The Board". Yes, it is currently the WST, but the same would apply if it was owned by one person, it would still be "The Board".

Personally, I like the WST model, and support it, and think it can bring us success. but if we did become privately owned again would be fine, as long as it brings us that success.

So again, I'll name Birdy as one. Do you disagree with that?

There may be a few that dont like the WST model but there was no alternative at the time ! My feelings are mixed and although the WST do a great job in the back ground they are not soo good when it come to appointing and controlling the Executive board who appear to do what they like .
Problem is when you raise concerns all you get back on RP are the "experts" saying well why don't you put yourself up for election ? reason I wont is I know very little about running a football club and those are the type of people we are sadly lacking at the moment.

I've never said that though. And as I've said, the club isn't perfect (far from it). The problem is with people who say ALL the problems are down to being WST, and use it as a hammer for what is wrong with the club. If we are to get promoted, they would be seen as absolute hypocrites to be complimentary, and therefore I don't think they would be happy to go up with the current model.
