He was the best player on the park by a mile when we played halifax at home but there must be a reason why hes not been picked up by a bigger club

Obviously he could not do it by himself and would just be 1 piece of the jigsaw and its a question of whether he would be on Sams radar or if Barrow thinks he is any good. I think he would certainly fit into a 4231 formation in an attacking role.

Just my opinion though

Being their old player, Halifax knew Roberts achilles' heel and targeted this.

As with any player that has talent then you get some levels of inconsistency especially at this level and that is something you have to live with to be able to enjoy the creativity that this type of player does provide a lot of the time.
Otherwise we end up with 2 wingers in the Rutherford mould.

My usually reliable source said that's it for this week but at least 2 more hopefully before we go to Portugal.
