Very happy to have Tharme in the squad, listening to the online commentary the other night it sounded like he coped well enough.

I hope that he is not one of the two signings expected this week though.

What happened to the lad who played for Fulham who played upfront on trial (and scored I believe) against Lex, he looked a very good player I thought - albeit not great opposition but he stood out.

I have seen Pyke play in a Wrexham shirt.

All scored goals in real football so as things stand all have better records than Pyke.
I was just trying to understand how you can rate these new players as better than last season without having seen them play in competitive games. I still think it’s just happy clapper optimism and sheer hope.

These new faces will need to be in the Pearson/Manny bracket of quality not gambling on youngsters who’ve barely kicked a ball and are still shitting yellow. And it needs to be at least four of them. I know it’s not going to happen though.
