Yes me. When managers make a lot of summer signings , a fair percentage of the signings will fail. At this point it looks like possibly all Ricketts’ signings will be successful. Way too early for this I think. Unlikely but as an example Fondop may not score another goal for us.

I don’t see the issue with people saying how they feel about the manager, squad, players etc at the time based on what we know.

Some fans ( and in no way is this directed at the op) seem to think everything the manager or club does should be met with universal praise and clapping and I’m not sure what planet they’ve come from.

Someone should resurrect the Bakare signs thread and let’s have a good look at that...

Not giving any player of the season awards quite yet, but I will say I was wrong on Fondop. He didn't look anything special when he came on for Guiseley when Wrexham went there last season and the YouTube compilations left a lot to be desired.

But you can't argue with 3 in 4 from your striker. I only hope his head doesn't drop when things aren't going his way like some potentially good strikers do.

I agree that it is too early to judge whether SR is the Messiah or just another naughty boy. However I believe the point is that he is clearly a man with a plan to entertain us and ,so far, he has stuck with a solid defense and added flair to our frontline. While it seemed obvious that this is what we needed getting the correct playing staff was key.
He has been patient and has brought in quality and that can be judged now - whereas some were suggesting that ,as a complete rookie, he would be unable to do that.

I really think you need to go back and have a look at what some people wrote mate. Alot of it was really OTT.

I agree, but the problem was, people were saying how they felt based upon what they didn’t know!

This is as premature as the preseason criticism. If we lose a few games will we have an amnesty thread for the views expressed in this amnesty thread?
