Originally I thought it was not a pen, based on no-one appealing from them and the bewilderment and uncertainty all around as to what the whistle was blown for.

Having just seen the highlights package for the first time I have to say, as soft as it was, I can't say that the ref was the wrong.

Pearson gave him a decision to make and tbh, I'm just surprised it's taken this long for him to have been penalised.

Bromley player conned the ref, but Pearson's reputation probably goes ahead of him.
It's gone now, lets hope it evens out at Solihull.

Pearson had hands in the back, lads gone down soft but why give the ref a decision to make? Daft thing is the balls flying over to the back post and Pearson is marking the lad at the front, he wasn't a threat.

Summerfield was unlucky with the OG l, misread the flight of the ball and steps under it. If he stays where he was and attacks it he probably gets a clean head on it.

It’s a pen looking at that. Pearson stupidly gives him a chance to give something. He’d have gone straight over if someone slightly pushed him like that. You can’t have it both ways.

Still no idea what Summerfield was trying to do, almost like he’s trying to flick it on. Bizarre.
