Default Re: Champions

Us older boys were young kids when the Champions of 77/78 lit up our hearts.

The young fans of today have no idea and no concept of what that feels like.

For your own Club to be crowned Champions and to know that your own home town club is the best in the land in your Division.

Theirs a fire in many of our bellies that will never burn out.

A fire of champions.

Play with no fear.

Buy two more players (like Dixie and Dia) who will make the world of difference. Make the fans believe you mean business.

Get them off their feet.

Help our younger fans to make our club great again.

Champions are born out of well run football clubs.

And don't focus on badly run football clubs.

Decide if your a Jedi Wrexham Fan or a Darkside Wrexham Fan.

Get your old Lightsabre out for Wrexham. Metaphorically

Put your hand up if your a Jedi Wrexham Fan.

Let their be light on this galaxy we know as Wrexham Town.

I took a sickie day off work today to concentrate on getting Wrexham back into the Football League as Champions.

If every fan, player, manager, director and sponsor took the very same day off work and concentrated on getting Wrexham back into the football league as Champions it would create a mighty tidal wave of energy.

When I come back to Red Passion I hope to be WelshKiwi

And I really hope we are back on top of the league...

Come on The Town. You legend.

El Poncho has officially gone. He has now left the building.

He has taken off his Poncho and headed off into the Spanish sunsets to enjoy early retirement with Juan Ugarte.
El Jonez can now take up the RP Espana mantle. Viva El Jonez.

Back on it...
In 1978 after beating Tranmere 6-1 at home at the Racecourse, Bill Shankly took centre stage in a packed press room and said "This Wrexham side are the greatest third Division side I have ever seen."

We all know you can't live off past glories. But you can use those past glories to inspire your future.

To all the players of Wrexham AFC.... learn from our great side of 1978. To play with no fear. Use that same great badge on all your chests to unite you. Your lucky to wear it. Lots of footballers never get to wear the Wrexham badge.

Learn to love the big Racecourse crowds. Feed off their energy. Show our young fans that the players of their home town club will make their dreams come true. Something they will have never seen before. Which means your success will change them for life.

Help inspire our crowds. Don't ever be scared to shoot often. Just make sure it dips and arcs and is on target. Help them learn to have confidence in you. To know that no matter what happens away at Havant & Waterlooville, you will still be standing there holding the silver trophy at the very end with Sam.

Never accept 2nd best or 3rd best. That's a compromise. Go for the very top.

Our Town deserves it.

This squad isn’t as good as the 98 point season team, if it’s anything it will be the playoffs.

Your opinion of course.
One subtle difference - we are financially more stable so will hopefully sign rather than sell in January.
