So you would drop Roberts? For me he has been consistently our best defender for the last half a dozen games now. I would replace Jennings with Carrington everyday of the week.

You can’t play JMD there. We need one of Wright and Walker to play each game to give us physicality. I’d be looking at signing Walker up permanently, he’s been another good signing.

I have to say, it's a bit of a luxury for a club like ourselves to have three decent centre backs on good money with a decent youngster as back up as well, especially when you consider how weak we are at the other end of the pitch. August is some way off, January on the other hand...

I can see it happening (no insider knowledge, just a possibility in my mind). I could see the logic but Ricketts would need balls of steel as it would open him and the club up to the “no ambishun” flapping heads.
