Well without a manager in place for Jan the rest is a pipedream.

My opinion is 1 CF, 1 winger, 1 CM and sort out the Walker situation.
Defensively we seem OK on numbers if Manny returns and Roberts isnt long term.

If we have the same Jan window as last year we will have the same end result.

Not sure about RB Birdy, nothing wrong with Roberts and Carra for the conference. Maybe if we went up we'd need better full backs. Jennings I would happily replace but not as a priority

I think the club are wary of paying top wages though and instead are trying to find a striker that will come good here that they can then sell on for a big fee. That's fine to do that but not as your main striker.

It'll be interesting to see if we sign any forward players next month because numbers wise we don't need anyone.

We don’t pay for quality up front = 11 years in the same league.

In an ideal world yes, we won't be getting full backs though....Roberts, Carra + JJ are seen as good enough and despite the fact they could definitely be improved we should be focusing further forward.

It depends on what formation we play with, if we are going with the recent diamond then we should be going all out for that superstar to play at the tip of it. If we are going to revert back to the 4-3-3 type formation I think our Midfield would be sorted with the permanent/extended signing of Walker....3 from Summerfield/Young/Walker/Wright/Rutherford/Carrington/Deverdics is enough for that.

Either way, we need a big signing up front and the addition of a wide player with some pace and creativity either to play on the wing of a 4-4-2 or wide forward in a 4-3-3 (what JMD is supposed to be), Grant could be this man.

As always players are then judged by performances and quite frankly they haven't been good enough for a red shirt.
