You read my mind Phil the whole team plays to deep and don't create many chances it's not just down to strikers, how many strikers have we had here since Moult left, lots and most ended up being shocking, I think the midfield in reality is only slightly better than last season, to many players who don't create chances because we don't get forward quick enough, all this sideways and backwards passing which usually ends up back with the keeper who then kicks it out of play gets us nowhere, players don't looks for space no pass and move hence why it keeps going sideways, we need a Fowler type without the baggage.

To many fans seem to think workrate makes a good player, yes we don't want lazy but we need some creation to go with it, I like Rutherford but he seems to rarely beat a man one on one, Tollit could do it but will he be here long enough?

Are any of these players linked going to significantly improve us. I don’t think they will. I’d rather us get a couple of new full backs who can actually produce something going forward.
