In fairness, Beavon wins more of those than he should. The real failing is there's no one alongside him to receive it and, often he ends up chasing (and sometimes winning) it himself. Absurd!

Then there is also lack of numbers at WAFC board level which cannot be healthy for decision making and challenging decisions.

However its all volunteers so what can be said really. Too much work and not really enough time or resource to do it.

The constitution is quite clear.
Irrespective of how many sit on the club board there should always be 1 more WST board member than the rest.
As an aside, All the Directors I've ever been aware of at the club have been Volunteers. Don't think a Director has ever been paid unless you count the freebies they got but it came at a price of a £50k bond.

The main work is carried out by paid employees. the "Directors" have general responsibilities for overseeing their designated areas.
There is no need for a full time Director and Never has been.
