If we get players from further away then they either need to be willing and able to commute, or we need to pay relocation fees or provide accommodation.

Criticise him for stuff he's doing not stuff you are making up in your head.

Thought we had a staff house? Cannot realistically just go on a 25mile radius-shows again need to improve youth system so other source of players.

Look at most clubs at this level and the players they signs. The vast majority are from a closer geographic area. That's why some players seem to do the rounds of clubs in the south east.

It's not necessarily that we aren't looking at players from further afield, but it's getting players who want to move.

Believe he is opposition scout rather than player recruitment... Not quite spying on training but watching upcoming opponents that the game tape may not fully show..

Don't know costs of reserve team but you improve by playing especially as a young player- no doubt part of the reason Smith has stagnated
